Building Resilience in Nepal

Over 2024-25, I participated in a World Bank project in Nepal to address disaster risk.

Working with a World Bank team of seismic engineers and risk experts, I was tasked with making a series of interactive scenarios examining different aspects of disaster risk management, focusing on earthquakes, floods and landslides.

Collaborating with Kathmandu theatre company Mandala Theatre, I co-developed a series of games and simulations for policy-makers. These were run with key government officials and policy-makers in Kathmandu, and in 16 municipalities in far eastern and far western Nepal.
