The Pledge: Net Zero in 60 Minutes

In 2021 I was commissioned by Climate Safe Lending to create a new online game looking at the world of sustainable finance system. The Pledge explores the challenges and opportunities for banks grappling with what it means to transition to net zero.

The Pledge explores issues including:

• Shareholder activism
• Lobbying and government regulation
• Measuring scope 1, 2 and 3 emissions
• Transition risk and first mover disadvantage
• Corporate clients
• Internal bank dynamics
• NGOs and activists

The Pledge was launched as part of Climate Safe Lending’s May 2021 workshop for 60 participants from banks, regulators and NGOs.
